A very nice place. Large selection of wines. Very friendly service, able to help in selecting wine to suit the customer's taste. Good selection of small starters. A nice place with pleasant prices for Venice. I recommend it and will probably come back.
We arrived and ordered two Spritz, one with Aperol and One with Select. We spoke in Italian and communicated with one waiter. He asked if we could do a half size $16 cheese and taglieri plate for my wife, rather than $30 one, and I asked for polenta and polpette di manzo. One person came out and said they couldn’t do the half size plate so we just said bring the $16 taglieri plate. It arrived not looking like anything we normally receive. Prosciutto cotto and sliced Turkey. 5 minutes later original waiter asked if we ordered anything else. I said NeverMind, the taglieri plate was fine.
Spritzes we’re fine, but in smaller size
Taglieri (cold cuts) not great.
Polpette and polenta. Never arrived.
Can’t review cichetti but most Italians ordered these.
Good wine bar, catered for locals, where you can have seafood ciccheti and vermouth and bitter cocktails.
Wine Bar with wines by the glass, but at least 3 out of 7 reds not available.
No expertise in at least red wines - selling Pinot Nero as alternative to Bordeaux blend tastewise - what?
Prices by the bottle are clearly overpriced.
Not to be recommend for wine afficionados and connoisseurs!
Maybe the food is much better - we have been to late to test!
Nice wine shop. We stopped for lunch and had the cichetti selection for lunch. Just the right amount for a light lunch for 2. There’s a nice wine selection by the glass or a Spritz to pair. Nice terrasse on a lovely and quiet area of Venice.
We visited this wine bar twice while we were in Venice. The first we visited, we asked if we could just order coffee and the waiter said we could. So we enjoyed our coffee with no problem. We went there a second time the next day and when I told the waiter we wanted to order coffee, he told me that we couldn't. We could only dine there if we wanted. This was a bit puzzling because we had our coffee there the previous day. Anyway, the coffee was good and the place has a nice view of the square.
Nice place with sitting outside and good selection of wines. Hidden in quieter part of Venice
Very nice!!! I loved everything about the place. And they speak great English aswell. The wine was awesome
